View from my Coffee Cup

I arrived at the event venue at 9:30 A.M. to make sure everything was in place. I took a moment to check that the tables were perfectly arranged and the name tags and name plates were set to welcome our guests.

Soon, established authors, aspiring writers, and enthusiastic book lovers would be gathering to celebrate the tenth anniversary of UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL WITH YOUR LOCAL AUTHORS.

My coffee had gone cold, but I didn’t mind; there is something delightful about enjoying cold coffee. I took a deep breath to ease my nerves, feeling grateful that everything was coming together beautifully as planned. In the end, it turned out to be a fantastic day!
