View from my coffee cup

I had coffee at my kitchen table this morning. This quiet moment allowed me to reflect on My Self. For a very long time, people had been playing along with me because they admired the game I was playing; they would stay in my playpen for a while, then leave when I proved to be a skilled player — my game turned out to be more challenging than they had anticipated.

Throughout my life, I believed that people left my playpen because I wasn’t good enough. This notion dogged me until I paid less attention to those who chose to leave. Sometimes, I found myself playing alone, and that was a frightening feeling.

I realized that God wants me to follow His way, guided by His instructions, and new games began to reveal themselves to me, bringing blessings in their wake.

Have you ever been told, You are too much? I have.

Let me tell you, playing alone can be beneficial, rewarding, and enjoyable. Give it a try! You might be surprised at how many people will want to join you as you play, while those who criticize your intensity will leave your space.

Play your own game!

    Hi:

Yes, we have to play the game, but pray the game too. Nice article. Will send my submission for March later this week. Take care and blessings, from Dawn
