WHAT IS PLATFORM?
I arrived at the Toronto WRITING DAY CONFERENCE, held on April 6, in the Downtown Toronto Delta Hotel, just in time to grab a coffee from the Lobby cafe.
I was ready to pitch by book CRY TOUGH (a Novel). I learned a lot about the rudiments of writing, choosing an agent, and so much more. It was a great day of learning.
I was curious about the question; What is Platform?
It is visibility, influence, reach, discoverability. For authors, it is the channel that they possess to speak to readers who listen when they speak.

You’re looking good girlfriend. Can’t make too many plans right now as I’m scheduled to have surgery on my left eye for a scarred retina. The date to be announced. When that happens I won’t be able to do anything much for about seven (7) days after. So that will tie me up a bit. As soon as I have the date I’ll let you know.
