The server at my favorite coffee shop is familiar with my coffee routine—a small black coffee every morning. Lately I’ve been buying a large black coffee.
“You’re drinking more coffee?” She asked.
“Not really—I drink half today and the remainder the following day.” I replied.
“You do what!” I knew she wanted to chew me out.
When I went for my coffee on the morning of the following two days; she gave me an extra large coffee and collected for a large.
“Why?” I asked.
“A large coffee is not sufficient for two mornings,” she answered.
