View from my coffee cup.

Hooray! Neighborhood coffee shops are open. Sections are cordoned off because of COVID 19; still, it is good to relax with a cup of strong brew in your favorite coffee shop. I admit, several times, during these months, I looked with disdain at my home brew and banged my bead against my kitchen table, annoyed.

A COFFEE A DAY

My daily coffee fix is $2.25. I think about folks who cannot afford a coffee. Pour into the coffee cup of a stranger, even a friend, when you can. I do.

In last week’s RESONATE I wrote

“In several editions of RESONATE, I encouraged readers to write a new script–meaning take a new path; do something fresh, new, and different. Many were creative in charting new courses; no one knew 2020 would push him or her to –-write a new script.
So, I ask you: What is that thing you’ve always wanted to do, the thing that keeps gnawing you to bring to completion, a bucket-list item, if you will. My thing is writing a couple of best-selling Novels. What is your thing? Life gives us windows of opportunity and moments in time. Some of us recognize our moments and seize them, others dilly-dally and hope that the same opportunity will come again…a missed opportunity is a moment gone forever. Seize your moment, do that thing now.”

  1. Olive thank you for encouraging, inspiring me to continue to write. I will never forget all the important lessons I have learned from you about life, people, children, family; especially writing etc.. I am always grateful whenever your Newsletters, blogs arrive just in time to inspire, motivate, support; most importantly give me a kick in the pants when I really need to ‘Do it Now’.
The journey has only just began, I for one am very glad to be on this road with you. Let’s Write!
