IT IS A CRYING SHAME!
My small, regular coffee, went up in price by 20 cents – just like that!
Am I cranky? Yes. I seriously thought of protesting – after all, my income has not risen in a long time. A small coffee is my basic morning staple … cappuccinos and lattes are my special occasion drinks. But, I perish the thought of a revolt with a level-headed alternative … I will do as always — have a cup of morning coffee at my local coffee shop. I calculated the price increase and reasoned my out of pocket amount to be $73.00 per year, baring more price increases.
20 cents x 365 days = $73.00.
Habits are what we form to simplify our lives. Very often, habits make us feel good, even blissful. Some habits are not good, most habits can be broken. What habit (s) do you have that you find hard to break? What would it take to break that habit (s)?
I can break my coffee habit entirely or I can have a cup of coffee at home every morning. But, I love my friends at the coffee shop. I love the camaraderie; I love the view from my cup. This habit, of mine, is hard to break.
Think about a habit that might well worth breaking.
